Mark McDonald, PT, DPT

WALLKILL, N.Y. (Jan 9, 2017)—Access Physical Therapy & Wellness has promoted physical therapist Mark McDonald to the position of co-director of its Wallkill office. The clinic is located at 1450 route 208 in Wallkill.

“I’m really excited to be given the opportunity to oversee the Wallkill clinic with Lori Schneider,” said McDonald. “Working at Access has provided me with the experience needed to help run this office, and I’m proud to now be in the position to pass on that experience from a leadership role.”

McDonald received his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology with a concentration in exercise science from SUNY Cortland, and received his doctorate in physical therapy from D’Youville College.

“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Mark for a while now, and I think he’s a great fit to be my co-director at the Wallkill clinic,” said regional director, Lori Schneider, PT, MS, DPT. “He really cares about the wellbeing of the patients and has a great managerial style that will work well in this office.”

McDonald has clinical experience in both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation. Having worked with St. Francis Hospital’s inpatient rehabilitation center and Benedictine Hospital’s outpatient physical therapy center.

The Wallkill clinic provides services for orthopedic injuries, back and neck pain, balance problems and dizziness, difficulty walking, headaches, TMJ, and various neurological conditions.
