Tips for Working Out in the Cold Winter Months
Congrats to ACCESS PT’s Jared Scoville, PT, DPT, who was recently interviewed by WFSB Eyewitness News 3 for some tips to help people enjoy outdoor activities more safely during the cold winter months. His experience as both a physical therapist and an outdoor adventure guide give him a unique insight into the dangers faced in frigid temperatures.

Jared has a great interest in exercise and has pursued certifications in personal training, becoming a strength and conditioning specialist, and analyzing functional movement through the functional movement screen. He also has a background as an exercise physiologist, with 5 years of experience working in senior living facilities and designing exercise programs for young, middle aged, and older adults.
As a physical therapist he has found success treating a wide range of orthopedic injuries, low back pain, work-related injuries, and post-surgical conditions.
