The team at McLaughlin Judd Physical Therapy has over 60 years of combined experience in the PT field. We are a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Director de ÁreaThomas Plowinske, fisioterapeuta, doctor en fisioterapia y cirujano ortopédico, completó sus estudios universitarios en Marist College. Luego obtuvo un doctorado en fisioterapia en The Sage Colleges. Tiene una amplia experiencia en el tratamiento de diversas afecciones, entre ellas: lesiones y discapacidades ortopédicas generales, dolor lumbar y de cuello, postconmoción cerebral, reemplazos de articulaciones posoperatorios, reparaciones de ligamento cruzado anterior y cirugías de hombro.
Uno de los aspectos favoritos de Thomas como fisioterapeuta es tener la oportunidad de pasar tiempo con los pacientes y ayudarlos como personas, en lugar de como un diagnóstico o una lesión. Disfruta del proceso de conocer a sus pacientes, descubrir quiénes son, qué les gusta hacer y qué es importante para ellos, y luego adaptar su plan de tratamiento para que vuelvan a hacer esas cosas.
Como estudiante permanente, a Thomas le gusta ampliar su base de conocimientos, ya sea a través de cursos de formación continua o de experiencias con pacientes que tienen diagnósticos o situaciones complejas. También le resulta muy gratificante compartir sus conocimientos como mentor de nuevos médicos y disfruta ayudando a sus alumnos a desarrollar sus habilidades e intereses clínicos.
Thomas es un ávido fanático de los deportes y cuando no está trabajando, a menudo se lo puede encontrar jugando fútbol, haciendo senderismo o simplemente pasando tiempo al aire libre.

FisioterapeutaKevin graduated from Ithaca College in 1994 with a BS in Clinical Science and an MS in Physical Therapy. He has taken several post-professional continuing education classes in the treatment of the spine and the extremities. In 2011, he became certified in the McKenzie Method (also called Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy). Kevin has worked with athletes from all the local high schools as well as collegiate athletes, and has spoken to sports teams about injury prevention, particularly ACL injuries in soccer players. He has also given talks to the community about prevention of golf related injuries. His clinical interests extend beyond athletes to the general public with an emphasis on returning patients to their prior level of function and educating them about managing their condition to prevent future occurrences. Kevin has spent the past 24 years in this location developing relationships with patients, doctors and the community.

FisioterapeutaDennis is a 1979 graduate of Ithaca College with a BS in Physical Therapy. He received his certification in the McKenzie Method in 1997. He has extensive post-graduate training in examination and treatment of orthopedic and neurological conditions, lower extremity biomechanics, and shoulder/neck syndromes. Dennis also has expertise in the areas of ergonomics and industrial rehabilitation. He has worked with professional, collegiate, and high school athletes in the Capital Region as well as in Colorado and Texas. Dennis has provided physical therapy for work injuries onsite at General Electric, Albany International, and Momentive Performance Materials and has lectured and presented at Russel Sage College, Texas State University, and Castleton State College in Vermont.
