From Our Table to Yours: Holiday Recipes

There are so many wonderful things about the holiday season – spending time with loved ones, enjoying the festive decorations, and of course eating all of the delicious holiday treats! We recently asked ACCESS PT staff to submit their most-loved holiday recipes, and we weren’t disappointed! Here are our three favorites:

This delicious cranberry bread recipe is quick and easy, and can be used to make loaves or muffins!

Combine wet ingredients:

  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 6 Tbsp melted butter
  • 2 cups sugar

Combine dry ingredients:

  • 4 cups flour
  • 3 tsp baking powder

Add “dry” ingredients to “wet” ingredients. Then add 1 cup chopped walnuts and 2 cups cranberries. Lastly, mix and add 1 tsp baking soda and 4 Tbsp hot water.

Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes. If using recipe to make muffins, bake for 20-25 minutes.

These old-fashioned molasses cookies from Betty Crocker are frequently requested by my friends and family…if only they knew how easy they are to make! A touch of turbinado sugar gives these chewy cookies just a bit of crunch, as well as a pretty sparkle.
