Brian Cardin PT, C.PED.

Brian Cardin PT, C.PED.
Regional DirectorBrian has been practicing Physical Therapy since 1994 & Pedorthics since 1997. He is a graduate of the University of Findlay’s Physical Therapy Program and Temple University’s School of Podiatric Medicine’s Pedorthic program.
Brian is a founding member of Cardin & Miller Physical Therapy, PC which expanded to include additional partners in 2023 to form ACCESS PT PA, LLC. Brian is a member of the LLC and acts as Regional Director for the clinics in Pennsylvania and North Carolina.
Most of Brian’s time is spent supporting his clinical team’s business and clinical needs as necessary. He is involved with the American Therapy Association Pennsylvania as a legislative liaison. This affords him the opportunity to have a voice regarding regulatory issues affecting physical therapy. In addition, he teaches orthotic applications in physical therapy at Lebanon Valley College’s PT program and serves on an advisory committee at Messiah University’s PT program.

Director of Orthotics & DME ProductSteve has been practicing Outpatient, Orthopedic Physical Therapy in the Central Pennsylvania region since 1994. His academic history includes undergraduate work at Central Pennsylvania College and Lock Haven University, graduate studies at the University of Findlay, and pedorthic certification from Temple University.
By combining his education and years of experience, Steve has been able to provide individual physical therapy and pedorthic services to his patients for over 15 years. Steve has been to more than 20 continuing education courses during that span, with the focus being on orthopedics, pedorthic implementation, and foot/ankle injuries. He utilizes a combination of McKenzie, manual therapies, and functional exercise in the treatment of clients with all types of orthopedic maladies.

DirectorMiranda L. Bednar, DPT, earned her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and shortly after that earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Temple University.
Miranda has spent her career in outpatient orthopedics. Her professional experiences have led her to focus on manual therapy, gait, and movement re-training. Miranda has always been personally and professionally involved in sports and the athletic population. She enjoys working with athletes on injury prevention and rehabilitation, as well as sports performance, and has had the privilege to work with multiple local sports organizations. She also has a special interest in the foot and ankle joints. She has trained with certified pedorthists and physical therapists in the prescription and fabrication of custom functional and accommodative orthotics.
Miranda has had collaborative research projects both published in professional journals and presented at national conferences. She is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Associations.
When not at work, Miranda spends as much time outside as possible on her bike, on a mountain, or on a lake. Despite PA being her home now, the Vermonter is still inside her!

Physical TherapistJosh graduated from Alvernia University in Reading, Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Science in 2020 and earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree also from Alvernia University in May, 2022.
Josh joined the Cardin and Miller PT team in May 2022 and truly has a passion for outpatient orthopedic physical therapy especially with those who regularly participate in strength training. He plans on furthering his education by becoming a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and exploring other orthopedic certifications in the future.
Josh grew up in Lewisberry, PA and in his free time, enjoys participating in multiple activities such as ultimate frisbee, disc golf, football, and snowboarding. He also has a strong passion for weightlifting, strength training, and bodybuilding.

Physical TherapistCaroline graduated from Arcadia University’s Doctorate of Physical Therapy program in 2022. While at Arcadia, she was involved in Arcadia’s new clinic providing pro bono care for uninsured community members, and she worked as a graduate assistant to assist younger PT students in practicing skills that they learned in classes. Prior to her time at Arcadia, Caroline attended James Madison University where she earned a degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science.
Caroline grew up in Eastern PA, and she enjoys cooking, skiing, playing pickleball, and spending time with friends.
Caroline enjoys working with a variety of patients and is motivated to get you back to whatever activities you are missing out on!

Physical TherapistJessica graduated from the University of Scranton with her Doctor of Physical Therapy in May of 2023. Prior to earning her DPT, Jessica earned a Bachelor’s of Exercise Science from Grove City College in 2016. While at Grove City College, Jessica played collegiate soccer and basketball and earned a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification. Jessica continues to participate in sports and is an avid runner. She enjoys spending her time reading, gardening, hiking and just visiting with family and friends.
Jessica enjoys treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions for individuals of all ages. She has a particular passion for working with the older adult population to help them return to or continue living an active lifestyle. She is a firm believer that everyone is an athlete in their own way and is excited to help you return to performing at your best!

Certified PedorthistBeth graduated from Penn State-Harrisburg in December 2012 with a Bachelor of Humanities in English. Beth received her Certification in Pedorthics in May 2013. Beth has worked in the shoe industry since August 2008. With her training and experience, she is well versed in shoes and how they should fit an individual’s foot. Beth enjoys the continuing education that comes along with maintaining her certification and learning all-new ways to treat patients and their feet.
Beth enjoys spending her free time with her husband and son on many outdoor adventures.

Physical Therapist AssistantZach is originally from York, Pennsylvania but relocated to Myrtle Beach, SC to attend Physical Therapist Assistant school at Horry Georgetown Technical College He continued in South Carolina with a small private practice seeing a variety of patient presentations for over 3 years. Zach and his wife just recently returned to Pennsylvania to be closer to family where they enjoy spending time on the Conodoguinet Creek and raising their daughter and dog.
He enjoys working on his home and using his smokers to barbecue multiple times a week.

PT AideHunter joined the ACCESS PT team in May of 2023. He attended William Paterson University and was born and raised in New Jersey. Growing up he played many sports, which sparked an interest in the study of exercise science.
He enjoys being able to help others, both the clinicians and all the patients he gets to interact with. His time as an Aide has led to him planning to go back to school to pursue a degree in physical therapy to become a physical therapist.
During his free time, he enjoys coaching and playing soccer. He also loves to golf and go fishing when it is nice out.

Office CoordinatorSherri has been an integral member of the Cardin and Miller Physical Therapy for over 10 years. She earned an associates degree in Medical Billing and Coding from Miller-Motte College. Sherri entered the field of healthcare with a passion to help others.
As the Front Desk Manager she is a valuable member of the Cardin and Miller Physical Therapy team. She is most likely the first person you’ll see when you come into the clinic and is usually the voice you talk to on the phone. Sherri loves to see people get back to their best!
In her free time, Sherri enjoys hiking with her dogs and spending time with her grandchildren!!

She has 25 years of experience in various healthcare settings including insurance, scheduling, billing & coding front/back office duties. She is very excited to utilize the knowledge she has gained at Cardin & Miller.
Dawn enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She has two children and recently welcomed a grandbaby! She also has two amazing fur babies, Athena and Finn, who keep her busy before and after work! In her spare time, she enjoys going to craft shows, watching football, and being the passenger on the back of a motorcycle.

Patient CoordinatorVictoria graduated high school in 2024 and decided to jump right into the workforce. She started as a patient coordinator at ACCESS PT in June of 2024. Victoria is a huge fan of all things theatre-related! She dreams of becoming an actress on Broadway. She also adores singing, reading, and spending as much time as she possibly can outside in the sun. She really enjoys talking to each of her patients and hearing about their different stories!
