Clinic Director, Physical TherapistDr. Sureshkumar Balakrishnan is a Clinical Director and experienced Physical Therapist specializing in advanced outpatient rehabilitation. With a Doctor of Physical Therapy and advanced training in orthopedics, he brings extensive expertise to patient care and clinical leadership. At the Yonkers facility, he leads with a focus on evidence-based practice and serves on the Neuro Clinical Quality Council at Confluent Health, where he has been nominated for Neuro Council Chair.
His clinical approach combines advanced manual therapy techniques—including Maitland, McKenzie, and Mulligan—with modern technologies such as Surface EMG to support functional recovery and patient-centered outcomes.
