Brian Cardin PT, C.PED.

Brian Cardin PT, C.PED.
Regional DirectorBrian has been practicing Physical Therapy since 1994 & Pedorthics since 1997. He is a graduate of the University of Findlay’s Physical Therapy Program and Temple University’s School of Podiatric Medicine’s Pedorthic program.
Brian is a founding member of Cardin & Miller Physical Therapy, PC which expanded to include additional partners in 2023 to form ACCESS PT PA, LLC. Brian is a member of the LLC and acts as Regional Director for the clinics in Pennsylvania and North Carolina.
Most of Brian’s time is spent supporting his clinical team’s business and clinical needs as necessary. He is involved with the American Therapy Association Pennsylvania as a legislative liaison. This affords him the opportunity to have a voice regarding regulatory issues affecting physical therapy. In addition, he teaches orthotic applications in physical therapy at Lebanon Valley College’s PT program and serves on an advisory committee at Messiah University’s PT program.

Director of Orthotics & DME ProductSteve has been practicing Outpatient, Orthopedic Physical Therapy in the Central Pennsylvania region since 1994. His academic history includes undergraduate work at Central Pennsylvania College and Lock Haven University, graduate studies at the University of Findlay, and pedorthic certification from Temple University.
By combining his education and years of experience, Steve has been able to provide individual physical therapy and pedorthic services to his patients for over 15 years. Steve has been to more than 20 continuing education courses during that span, with the focus being on orthopedics, pedorthic implementation, and foot/ankle injuries. He utilizes a combination of McKenzie, manual therapies, and functional exercise in the treatment of clients with all types of orthopedic maladies.

AideLindsey is a central Pennsylvania native who earned an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Lebanon Valley College. She was a 4-year member of the softball team, including two appearances in the NCAA tournament.
Lindsey’s interest in rehabilitation care was sparked by personal rehab for injuries and a lifechanging accident in the family. These factors are the driving force behind her desire to work in the health and wellness field to better others’ lives.
Lindsey plans to continue her education by earning a Masters degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology. In her free time, she enjoys being active outdoors, coaching, and spending time with friends and family.

Physical TherapistShannon joined Cardin & Miller Physical Therapy in August of 2015. She has been practicing physical therapy since 1998. She has worked in a variety of settings, including acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and for many years in outpatient rehabilitation. A native of Central Pennsylvania, she has also practiced in New York, Georgia, and North Carolina. Shannon earned her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Misericordia University in Dallas, Pennsylvania, in 1998.
Shannon specializes in treating orthopedic conditions including foot and ankle conditions with the prescription of custom orthotics. She has attended many continuing education courses; manual therapy, McKenzie method for neck and back pain, as well as vestibular rehabilitation. Shannon enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons at various sporting, school and scouting activities, as well as hiking and camping.

Physical TherapistRachele attended Penn State University for her undergraduate studies in kinesiology, then went on to graduate with a doctorate in Messiah University’s Physical Therapy program.
She is passionate about helping people regain the ability to perform all functional activities without being limited by pain, ultimately enhancing their quality of life. Whether it’s helping someone return to walking, keep up with their grandchildren, or get back to the sport they love, Rachele takes great pride in being the one to guide them there.
“My favorite part of being a physical therapist is helping people grow and heal not just mentally, but physically, emotionally, and spiritually as well, so that I can treat the patient as a whole person.”
While she enjoys treating all areas of the body, Rachele specializes in balance, vestibular, and foot/ankle pathologies. She values the camaraderie within her team and the family-like atmosphere of the clinic, where there is never a dull moment.
Outside of work, Rachele loves spending time with her family and traveling back to Italy where she is from.
