Karen Browning PT, DPT

Karen Browning PT, DPT
DirectorOriginally from Rhode Island, Karen earned her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science and worked in corporate health and wellness for 10 years, the first 6 years in Providence and the last 4 years in Connecticut. Karen continued her career in the fitness field as a group exercise instructor and personal trainer. She has also worked as an American Red Cross class instructor while raising her two sons, now 20 and 22 years old. Karen returned to school at the University of Hartford in 2014 where she earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She has been working in out patient rehab full time while also doing some per diem work in acute care. Karen has continued her education by completing training in Mulligan, McKenzie, headache management, pelvic restoration, and dry needling.

Ben Chacho OTR/L, LSVT
Occupational TherapistBen Chacho, OTR/L, LSVT, completed his master’s degree in Occupation Therapy at Sacred Heart University. Ben has extensive experience working with a variety of diagnosis, across multiple therapy settings including homecare and skilled nursing facilities and working with patients from a wide range of ages.
Ben believes in a patient-centered, and evidence-based approach to achieve patients full therapy potential as demonstrated by implementing his knowledge and certification of LSVT big with his patients to optimize independence and improve quality of life.
Ben is a very active therapist, and when he’s not working, he can often be found playing soccer, going to the gym, running, hiking, and spending time with his family.
