Miranda Bednar PT, DPT
Area DirectorMiranda L. Bednar, DPT, earned her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and shortly after that earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Temple University.

Miranda has always been personally and professionally involved in sports and the athletic population. She enjoys working with athletes on injury prevention and rehabilitation, as well as sports performance, and has had the privilege to work with multiple local sports organizations. She also has a special interest in the foot and ankle joints. She has trained with certified pedorthists and physical therapists in the prescription and fabrication of custom functional and accommodative orthotics.
Miranda has had collaborative research projects both published in professional journals and presented at national conferences. She is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Associations.

Director/Physical Therapist
Edward Wierzbicki MPT, MTC, OCS
Director/Physical TherapistEdward Wierzbicki, MPT, earned his degree from Slippery Rock University Graduate School of Physical Therapy in 1996. He has practiced at A Physical Therapist, Inc. since August of 2001 and was owner of the practice from May 2017 to May 2024.
Edward has spent his career in outpatient orthopedics. His professional experiences have led him to focus on manual therapy interventions and movement re-education. He holds certifications from the University of St. Augustine for manual therapy, the orthopedic section of the APTA, and from the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York for throwing athletes and hip preservation.
As a Central Pennsylvania native, Edward was motivated to build a career providing quality care with compassion and professionalism for the community he calls home. Joining ACCESS PT in the spring of 2024 has allowed continued growth and development of the practice he started in 2001 and supports his ongoing commitment to the community as a physical therapist.
When not at work, Edward spends time with his family. He is currently the father of a soon-to-be high school senior, a high school freshman, and a middle school student. He can be found scouting colleges and teaching his daughter how to drive, enjoying time by the baseball field and basketball courts with his sons, or spending time in his garden.
