Regional DirectorJames is the Regional Director for ACCESS PT, providing leadership in team development, clinical education, and strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and clinical outcomes. He focuses on educating the team in patient-centered care while leveraging data-driven strategies to optimize performance across all levels of care. Outside of work, James enjoys golfing, woodworking, gardening, and spending time with his family, including playing baseball, lacrosse, and golfing with his kids.

Thomas Plowinske PT, DPT, OCS
Area DirectorThomas Plowinske PT, DPT, OCS completed his undergraduate studies at Marist College. He then earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from The Sage Colleges. He has extensive experience treating a variety of conditions including: general orthopedic injuries and impairments; low back pain and neck pain; post-concussion; and post operative joint replacements, ACL repairs, and shoulder surgeries.
One of Thomas’s favorite aspects of being a physical therapist is having the opportunity to spend time with patients and help them as a person, rather than a diagnosis or injury. He enjoys the process of getting to know his patients – finding out who they are, what they like to do, and what’s important to them – and then catering their treatment plan toward getting them back to doing those things.
As a lifelong learner, Thomas enjoys expanding his knowledge base, whether it’s through continuing education coursework or experiences with patients that have complex diagnoses or situations. He also finds sharing his knowledge as a mentor to new clinicians very rewarding, and enjoys helping his mentees develop their clinical skills and interests.
Thomas is an avid sports fan, and when he’s not working he can often be found playing soccer, hiking, or just spending time outdoors.

Physical TherapistKevin graduated from Ithaca College in 1994 with a BS in Clinical Science and an MS in Physical Therapy. He has taken several post-professional continuing education classes in the treatment of the spine and the extremities. In 2011, he became certified in the McKenzie Method (also called Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy). Kevin has worked with athletes from all the local high schools as well as collegiate athletes, and has spoken to sports teams about injury prevention, particularly ACL injuries in soccer players. He has also given talks to the community about prevention of golf related injuries. His clinical interests extend beyond athletes to the general public with an emphasis on returning patients to their prior level of function and educating them about managing their condition to prevent future occurrences. Kevin has spent the past 24 years in this location developing relationships with patients, doctors and the community.

Physical TherapistDennis is a 1979 graduate of Ithaca College with a BS in Physical Therapy. He received his certification in the McKenzie Method in 1997. He has extensive post-graduate training in examination and treatment of orthopedic and neurological conditions, lower extremity biomechanics, and shoulder/neck syndromes. Dennis also has expertise in the areas of ergonomics and industrial rehabilitation. He has worked with professional, collegiate, and high school athletes in the Capital Region as well as in Colorado and Texas. Dennis has provided physical therapy for work injuries onsite at General Electric, Albany International, and Momentive Performance Materials and has lectured and presented at Russel Sage College, Texas State University, and Castleton State College in Vermont.
