HOPEWELL JUNCTION, N.Y. (July 7, 2017)—Throughout the month of July, the Cortlandt Manor and Hopewell Junction locations of Access Physical Therapy & Wellness will be collecting donations for the Red Wing Think Differently Day at the Beach, an event at Red Wing Park to raise money to renovate Red Wing Park to be handicap accessible.
Red Wing Think Differently Day at the Beach will take place on Saturday, July 29 at Red Wing Park in East Fishkill, from noon to 6 p.m. and is free to the public.
The regional director of Access Physical Therapy & Wellness’ Cortlandt Manor and Hopewell Junction offices, Joe Rifino, PT, and his wife Janmarie Rifino, customer support specialist and physician-community liaison, will be in attendance.
“We are proud to sponsor a great event in our town, where I not only work, but am also a resident. We hope that the town achieves its goals, and we would like to be a resource for the local community for similar causes,” said Joe Rifino, PT. “Physical therapy and fitness can make a difference in the lives of children and seniors that have physical disabilities. It’s great to see the town make these areas more accessible so that these children can enjoy the park areas.”
Access Physical Therapy & Wellness has sponsored a handicap accessible picnic table and is collecting additional donations for the event in hopes of achieving their goals of making the beach and park fully handicap accessible.
To make a donation, stop in to either the Cortlandt Manor or Hopewell Junction office and tell the customer service representative that you’d like to make a donation to the Red Wing Think Differently event. The Cortlandt Manor clinic is located in Suite 4 at 2050 E. Main St. in Cortlandt Manor, NY and is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The Hopewell Junction office is located in Suite 2 at 2531 Route 52 in Hopewell Junction, NY and is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
