Welcome to County Physical Therapy, serving the New Paltz, Ulster County community for over 25 years! At County Physical Therapy, we utilize proven practices and modern techniques to help you get better, faster!
We specialize in treating musculoskeletal and neurological conditions that keep you from performing the activities you love. Some of these include, but are not limited to:

- Balance deficits

- Injuries sustained from automobile accidents
- Work-related injuries
- Rehabilitation prior to and after surgery- sports injuries
Our therapists work together with you to achieve your goals, whether they be returning to sports or keeping up with the grandchildren. At County Physical Therapy, we will work closely with you and your physician to set up an individualized program to help you decrease pain while increasing strength, motion, flexibility, and function.

Area DirectorDonna went to Quinnipiac University where she earned her Bachelor’s in Health Science and Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Donna has worked in various settings including acute care, rehabilitation and outpatient settings. She specializes in geriatrics with various diagnoses, pediatrics, athletes, and orthopedic injuries.
Donna holds several advanced certifications including LSVT BIG, Vestibular/Concussion Certification through the American Institute of Balance, and Rock Doc Fascial Movement Taping level 1. LSVT Big helps increase amplitude and normalize patient movement patterns in individuals who are diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.
Donna loves her job as a physical therapist because she has the opportunity to help people reach their goals. She particularly enjoys watching her patients progress through their therapy.
When she’s not working, Donna loves spending time in the outdoors especially fishing, going for walks, and playing with her children.

DirectorJay graduated from Northeastern University with a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy in 2006 after receiving his Bachelor of Science Degree in Rehabilitation Sciences. After completing his clinical affiliations in Massachusetts, New York, Florida, and Utah he returned to the Hudson Valley, where he has been treating for the last seventeen years. Jay grew up in Newburgh and was drawn to the field after sustaining a knee injury in high school which required physical therapy. Jay has completed various continuing education courses focusing on the treatment of multiple orthopedic and sports injuries as well as a large concentration on spine and manual therapy. He enjoys working with a wide variety of patients, from those with musculoskeletal and sports injuries to patients with neurological and balance deficits.
Jay is a 2-time marathoner and continues to compete in ski racing. When not in the clinic, Jay enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and two children.
