Jacquelyn Nash OTD, OTR/L
Director, Occupational Therapist
Jacquelyn Nash OTD, OTR/L
Director, Occupational TherapistJacquelyn Nash, OTD, OTR/L earned her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Russell Sage College. She is experienced in treating a wide range of patient populations, including shoulder and upper extremity injuries, patients who have experienced a stroke, and patients with cognitive deficits.
As an occupational therapist, Jacquelyn loves empowering patients and creating a safe and encouraging space for patients to explore their potential on their road to recovery. The aspect of that journey she enjoys most is educating patients about their bodies and the interplay between their injury and the human anatomy in digestible language. With that type of education, patients can leave not only feeling physically better but also more knowledgeable about their body.
In her free time, Jacquelyn enjoys exploring the Hudson Valley with her husband and two daughters, traveling the country to see live music, and finding new spots for great food!
Nina Silverman PT
Physical Therapist
Nina Silverman PT
Physical TherapistNina attended SUNY Brockport, graduating with a degree in modern dance in 1977. She then attended the University of Texas at San Antonio where she earned a degree in physical therapy in 1982. Since then Nina has continued her pursuit of lifelong learning, expanding her skills in the field of integrative manual medicine and blending it into her orthopedic practice model.
Nina has been a PT practitioner for over 35 years. Her primary focus has been in orthopedic physical therapy with manual therapeutic skills developed during these years. These techniques include Muscle Energy and Counterstrain, which complements the therapeutic process so that goals are achieved more fully and faster. This training and experience along with her background in exercise and dance (13 years of formal dance training including ballet, modern, jazz and African forms), gives her a unique perspective on treatment of pain and dysfunction. Nina’s approach combines the importance of being based in science and research with the importance of integrating conventional and alternative medical models.
