Area DirectorDonna went to Quinnipiac University where she earned her Bachelor’s in Health Science and Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Donna has worked in various settings including acute care, rehabilitation and outpatient settings. She specializes in geriatrics with various diagnoses, pediatrics, athletes, and orthopedic injuries.
Donna holds several advanced certifications including LSVT BIG, Vestibular/Concussion Certification through the American Institute of Balance, and Rock Doc Fascial Movement Taping level 1. LSVT Big helps increase amplitude and normalize patient movement patterns in individuals who are diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.
Donna loves her job as a physical therapist because she has the opportunity to help people reach their goals. She particularly enjoys watching her patients progress through their therapy.
When she’s not working, Donna loves spending time in the outdoors especially fishing, going for walks, and playing with her children.

DirectorJay graduated from Northeastern University with a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy in 2006 after receiving his Bachelor of Science Degree in Rehabilitation Sciences. After completing his clinical affiliations in Massachusetts, New York, Florida, and Utah he returned to the Hudson Valley, where he has been treating for the last seventeen years. Jay grew up in Newburgh and was drawn to the field after sustaining a knee injury in high school which required physical therapy. Jay has completed various continuing education courses focusing on the treatment of multiple orthopedic and sports injuries as well as a large concentration on spine and manual therapy. He enjoys working with a wide variety of patients, from those with musculoskeletal and sports injuries to patients with neurological and balance deficits.
Jay is a 2-time marathoner and continues to compete in ski racing. When not in the clinic, Jay enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and two children.

Adelaide Ronk is a dedicated physical therapist who earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2024 after graduating from Ithaca College in 2022 with a double minor in Dance and Health Science. She was involved in various sports throughout high school, including competitive dance, and continued her passion by performing with a dance company throughout college.
With a strong background in personal training, Adelaide is passionate about bridging the gap between physical therapy and strength training to optimize patient outcomes. She has experience working with a diverse range of patients, including those with orthopedic, pediatric, and neurological conditions. Having completed continuing education in manual therapy, she prioritizes individualized, evidence-based care. She is dedicated to lifelong learning and professional growth to ensure the best care for her patients.
Outside of the clinic, Adelaide enjoys going to the gym, spending time with family and friends, and attending concerts and sports games.

Physical TherapistDr. Rebecca Alexander Carey is passionate about guiding others on their path toward wellness and healing. She has nearly 7 years of experience as a practicing physical therapist, with additional education in pain science, pelvic rehabilitation, oncology, and orthopedics. Dr. Carey is a graduate of Binghamton University and Upstate Medical University.
She has instructed yoga and meditation since 2014 and in 2020 was named a 40 under 40 honoree in Central NY. She has authored publications ranging from adaptive recreation to the importance of pelvic health, and writes a monthly wellness column in a local magazine.
In Dr. Carey’s background is also passion for patient advocacy, and in addition to speaking engagements, lectures, and workshops in the community she volunteers as chair for a committee within the American Physical Therapy Association.
She enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, trying new foods, and sharing time with family. Dr. Carey is excited to join the team at Access Physical Therapy Newburgh!

Occupational Therapist, Hand SpecialistDr. Nadeen Elhajjaoui graduated from West Coast University OTD program in 2023. She has several years of experience as a practicing occupational therapist, with additional education in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation, neurology rehabilitation, and orthopedics. She has completed a multitude of courses focused on hand and upper extremity. In addition, she established an accredited beginner’s custom orthosis fabrication course based in Los Angeles, CA for OT/PT graduate students and licensed OT/PT practitioners.
She has a passion for helping all individuals with hand and upper extremity impairments to return back to engage in their daily meaningful activities as well as promoting their independence.
In her free time, Dr. Elhajjaoui enjoys spending time with her family, trying to learn how to cook new food recipes, going to the beach, and staying physically active.
