Michael Pro PT, DPT

Michael Pro PT, DPT
DirectorMichael Pro, PT, DPT earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Ithaca college, and has worked in outpatient orthopedics with a focus on functional movement for over 10 years. He specializes in vestibular therapy for vertigo as well as post-concussion syndrome. Michael has also been trained in the McKenzie Method of diagnosis and treatment of cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. He holds certifications in dry needling for a wide array of soft tissue disorders and in LSVT BIG therapy for Parkinson’s Disease.
As an athlete, Michael enjoys being active and helping people achieve their functional goals and return to the activities they enjoy.

Physical TherapistPam Lehman, PT, ATC-R earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Connecticut. With a career spanning orthopedics, sports, and dance medicine, Pam brings a wealth of experience to our Newtown, CT location.
She’s passionate about aiding others in their recovery journeys and finds joy in helping patients return to the things that they love. In her own free time, Pam enjoys kayaking, hiking, and photography.

Occupational TherapistMelisa is a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist currently working at Access PT in Newtown CT. She has 3 years of experience in helping individuals improve their quality of life by enhancing their ability to perform daily activities. She has a strong background in assessing and treating patients with physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges, and specializes in developing customized treatment plans tailored to each individual’s unique needs and goals.
She has worked with a diverse range of patients, including children, adults, and seniors, in various settings such as hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and outpatient clinics.
Her areas of passion include hand therapy, geriatric care, and neurology and is committed to using evidence-based practices to foster recovery and independence. In addition to her clinical experience, she continually updates her knowledge and skills through professional development courses and training in the latest therapeutic techniques. She is certified in CPR, MoCA (Montreal Cognitive Assessment) and holds a degree in Psychology and a master’s in occupational therapy from Stony Brook University.
Her personal interests include lifting weights, snuggling with her daughter and dog on the couch watching Netflix, and traveling to new countries with her sisters. She believes that every individual has the potential to live an empowered and fulfilling life, and her goal is to provide the tools, support, and guidance necessary to help them reach their fullest potential.
