Regional DirectorJames is the Regional Director for ACCESS PT, providing leadership in team development, clinical education, and strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and clinical outcomes. He focuses on educating the team in patient-centered care while leveraging data-driven strategies to optimize performance across all levels of care. Outside of work, James enjoys golfing, woodworking, gardening, and spending time with his family, including playing baseball, lacrosse, and golfing with his kids.

Thomas Plowinske PT, DPT, OCS
Area DirectorThomas Plowinske PT, DPT, OCS completed his undergraduate studies at Marist College. He then earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from The Sage Colleges. He has extensive experience treating a variety of conditions including: general orthopedic injuries and impairments; low back pain and neck pain; post-concussion; and post operative joint replacements, ACL repairs, and shoulder surgeries.
One of Thomas’s favorite aspects of being a physical therapist is having the opportunity to spend time with patients and help them as a person, rather than a diagnosis or injury. He enjoys the process of getting to know his patients – finding out who they are, what they like to do, and what’s important to them – and then catering their treatment plan toward getting them back to doing those things.
As a lifelong learner, Thomas enjoys expanding his knowledge base, whether it’s through continuing education coursework or experiences with patients that have complex diagnoses or situations. He also finds sharing his knowledge as a mentor to new clinicians very rewarding, and enjoys helping his mentees develop their clinical skills and interests.
Thomas is an avid sports fan, and when he’s not working he can often be found playing soccer, hiking, or just spending time outdoors.

Clinic DirectorTeresa graduated from Ithaca College in 1998 with a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy. While at Ithaca, she also played collegiate volleyball for 4 years. She had worked for Physical Therapy Associates of Schenectady for 26 years prior to the transition to ACCESS PT in 2024. Teresa is now the Clinic Director of the Scotia location. She has been certified in the McKenzie Method since 2011 and enjoys treating all orthopedic conditions.
Outside of work, Teresa enjoys playing the flute in the Ballston Spa Community Band with her family, cake decorating, and volunteering at Ballston Spa High School.

Diane Bonesteel PT
Physical TherapistDiane graduated from Quinnipiac College in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. She worked in the Capital District for a year and a half prior to moving to northern Virginia for 5 ½ years where she worked for the INOVA Health System in satellite offices as a Staff Therapist, Clinic Manager, and Medicare oversight prior to returning to the area in 2004. Diane had worked for Physical Therapy Associates for 20 years prior to the practice joining ACCESS PT. She has honed her practice in outpatient orthopedics and some neurology over her years of experience. Diane has treated all ages and ranges of issues from torticollis to neck/back injuries to total joint replacements and rotator cuff repairs as well as general sprains and strains. She particularly enjoys working with chronic pain concerns and headaches.
Outside of work, Diane is a mother of 2 and she spends as much time as possible hiking along with daily practicing yoga and crafting.
