Andrew McCauley, PT, DPT

Andrew is a compassionate and knowledgeable Physical Therapist who graduated with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2015 from D’youville College after obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from SUNY Cortland in 2011. He has experience working with a diverse population of patients as he spent 3 years as a travel PT working across the United States until finding a love for the state of North Carolina and Sports and More PT.
Andrew treats the full spectrum of patients with orthopedic conditions, from athletes and weekend warriors to post-surgical, geriatrics, and patients with Parkinson’s Disease. He enjoys working with patients of all ages and diagnoses and has a passion for helping people obtain goals that are meaningful to the patient and to improving their daily lives. His goal is to improve the lives of his patients through manual techniques, therapeutic exercise, and patient education. Andrew believes that patient education is vital to helping patients self-manage and better understand the purpose of their exercises.
In his free time, Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife, Jordan, and two children, Bellamy and Roman.

Catherine Johnston, PT, DPT

Catherine “CJ” Johnston graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Murphy Deming College of Health Sciences (Fishersville, VA) and is also a proud East Carolina University alumni with an undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology. She has a strong passion for holistic, patient-centered care that optimizes movement for her patients to achieve their greatest level of function. She has previous experience working with adolescents and adults with special needs through the Autism society of NC, as well with as adults requiring work-specific strength and vocational training at Wilson Workforce & Rehabilitation Center. Catherine has clinical experience treating a wide variety of orthopedic conditions, as well as sports injuries, pelvic floor dysfunction, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, and Dysautonomia/POTS.
Her favorite aspect of being a PT is finding the “driver” of a physical impairment, analyzing how it effects the patient’s entire body, and formulating a specific plan of care so they can achieve the best possible quality of life. She has a strong passion for one-on-one therapeutic intervention, and believes that movement is the key for optimizing all aspects of life.
When she is not working hard at Sports & More PT, Catherine enjoys hiking with her two Rottweilers, weight lifting, going to concerts and comedy shows, and playing tennis, golf, or disc golf.

Heather Laskey, PT, DPT

Heather Laskey PT, DPT earned both a Bachelor’s of Science in Health Science and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Hartford. During the course of her career, she has taken a variety of continuing education coursework encompassing a wide variety of conditions and populations, including: hip and pelvic rehabilitation, joint replacement rehabilitation, geriatric posture, core and balance, fall prevention, arthritis, osteoporosis, and osteopenia.
Heather is experienced with treating a wide range of orthopedic conditions as well as total joint replacements, geriatrics, and neurological conditions. She loves that her job as a physical therapist allows the opportunity to provide one-on-one care and work with patients in a variety of situations with different diagnoses and throughout the life-span. She particularly enjoys being able to motivate patients to work hard throughout their recovery process, and ultimately achieve their goals.
In her free time, Heather enjoys Camp Gladiator workouts, playing tennis, and spending time with friends and family (including her Husky pups)!

Kyle Davidson, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist

Kyle graduated from Oakland University in Auburn Hills, Michigan with a Clinical Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy. He also received his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio where he worked with a variety of division-1 collegiate sports teams. He relocated to North Carolina from Michigan in 2012. In 2015, he became a Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS) through the APTA and began utilizing functional dry needling to treat dysfunctional soft tissue. He has attended Maitland manual therapy continuing education courses focusing on hands-on spinal mobilization and assessment. Kyle has also completed continuing education coursework on vestibular rehabilitation and concussion assessment & medical management.
Kyle loves helping his patients develop autonomy over their own health and believes in providing education to promote independence and to empower his patients to affect their outcome.
