Brian Cardin PT, C.PED.
Regional DirectorBrian has been practicing Physical Therapy since 1994 & Pedorthics since 1997. He is a graduate of the University of Findlay’s Physical Therapy Program and Temple University’s School of Podiatric Medicine’s Pedorthic program.
Brian is a founding member of Cardin & Miller Physical Therapy, PC which expanded to include additional partners in 2023 to form ACCESS PT PA, LLC. Brian is a member of the LLC and acts as Regional Director for the clinics in Pennsylvania and North Carolina.
Most of Brian’s time is spent supporting his clinical team’s business and clinical needs as necessary. He is involved with the American Therapy Association Pennsylvania as a legislative liaison. This affords him the opportunity to have a voice regarding regulatory issues affecting physical therapy. In addition, he teaches orthotic applications in physical therapy at Lebanon Valley College’s PT program and serves on an advisory committee at Messiah University’s PT program.

Jacob Unger PT, DPT
Area DirectorJacob majored in exercise science at Valparaiso University in NW Indiana for his undergraduate schooling. He then attended Duke University where he earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Jacob enjoys working with patients of all ages and has a passion for optimizing performance whether it be on the playing field or in everyday life. He has extensive experience treating a variety of orthopedic conditions including:
- Post-operative, especially total joint replacements
- Rotator cuff repairs
- Labral repairs
- Meniscal repairs
- ACL reconstructions
- Scopes
- Microdiscectomies
- Spinal Fusions
Jacob was a Division 1 soccer player and particularly enjoys working with other athletes, whether it is to help them recover from an injury or optimize their performance.
One of his favorite things about physical therapy is being able to help patients take control of their rehabilitation using a combination of manual and exercise-based treatments as they increase their function and achieve their goals. He enjoys being able to connect with patients and hear about how physical therapy has changed their lives.
Jacob has ten siblings and grew up in Appleton, Wisconsin before moving to Apex, North Carolina with his family in 2008. He enjoys playing and watching soccer and other sports (Go Packers!) in addition to spending time with his family and friends.

DirectorDan Thomas PT, DPT, MS, CSCS in a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Prior to his education at UNC, Dan worked in a variety of fields included corporate wellness and cardiac rehab. Dan graduated from Lebanon Valley College with a Bachelor Degree in Art and Art History from West Virginia University with a Masters in Clinical Exercise Physiology. He has worked with a full spectrum of orthopedic issues and aided patients of all ages and walks of life in recovery.
Dan is truly a believer in the slogan “Exercise as Medicine.” If given the right tools, guidance, time and support, people almost always surprise themselves in what they can achieve. In his free time, he can be found living what he preaches as an avid runner and triathlete with his time being spent running, swimming, biking, weightlifting and/or lifting, carrying, crawling, or playing with his 2 children. So, if you are recovering from an orthopedic injury, looking to get back to sport, wishing to play with your grandchildren or on a journey to better health, Dan looks forward to working with you.

Physical TherapistRobbey Lindstedt PT, DPT, LMBT is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he earned both a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise and Sports Science and a Doctor of Physical Therapy. He has clinical experience treating patients of all ages with a wide variety of orthopedic issues.
Robbey enjoys providing a holistic approach and individualizing care for each patient to help them achieve their goals towards improving their lives. One of his favorite moments with patients is seeing their look of surprise when they realize what they can accomplish because of physical therapy, whether it is increased strength that allows them to pick up their grandchildren or helping patients return to recreational activities they never thought they’d do again.
When he’s not working, Robbey can be found running, hiking, trying new foods, and spending time with his friends and family.

Office CoordinatorSherri has been an integral member of the Cardin and Miller Physical Therapy for over 10 years. She earned an associates degree in Medical Billing and Coding from Miller-Motte College. Sherri entered the field of healthcare with a passion to help others.
As the Front Desk Manager she is a valuable member of the Cardin and Miller Physical Therapy team. She is most likely the first person you’ll see when you come into the clinic and is usually the voice you talk to on the phone. Sherri loves to see people get back to their best!
In her free time, Sherri enjoys hiking with her dogs and spending time with her grandchildren!!

Physical Therapist AssistantLogan Louzader, PTA, is a graduate of Midlands technical college in Columbia, SC. Before becoming a Physical Therapist Assistant, Logan got his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science at East Tennessee State University. Logan has had experience in multiple settings of care since starting his career as a PTA, seeing patients in all phases of their recovery.
Logan enjoys providing therapy to all types of patients, from athletes wanting to get back on the field to geriatric populations wanting to return to independence or hobbies. Seeing patients progress towards their goals motivates him to work in physical therapy.
When Logan is not working, he is around the triangle playing Disc Golf with his friends or finding the next tasty restaurant to eat at with his family.
