Bedford, NY|
Mamaroneck, NY|
Alexandra takes a holistic approach to rehabilitation, focusing on healing and optimizing function. She is passionate about helping others improve their health, wellbeing, and overall quality of life. To ensure the best lifelong and positive outcomes for her patients, she believes in broadening her focus when assessing a proper rehabilitation strategy. During treatment sessions, Alexandra takes into account asymmetries in the body, repetitive compensation patterns, body mechanics, core stability, balance, mobility, endurance, underlying health conditions, occupation, and activity levels. She emphasizes the importance of addressing and maintaining balance in all of these areas to prevent overuse of certain muscles and joints, as well as to prevent future injuries or arthritis.
Alexandra has experience treating a diverse range of patients, including those with post-surgical, neurological, pediatric, geriatric, and sports-related injuries, as well as congenital, autoimmune, and degenerative diseases. Her goal is to improve patients’ functionality, strength, stability, and mobility, while also preventing falls and future injuries, so they can return to their favorite activities. Whether it’s getting back to work, walking, running, playing sports, pursuing hobbies, feeling safe at home, using assistive devices more comfortably, or caring for loved ones without pain, Alexandra finds fulfillment in helping patients achieve a healthier, more active lifestyle and pursue their passions.
