Tracy Urvater PT, DPT, OCS
DirectorDr. Urvater has been a Rockland County resident since 1994. She graduated with honors from New York University in 1988. She continued to advance her educational background, receiving her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Utica College in 2012 with a 4.0 GPA. Although she began her career working at NYU Medical Center/Rusk Institute treating a wide variety of orthopedic and neurological cases, she has focused the majority of her career in orthopedics and sports medicine with a strong manual therapy base. She treats all aspects of orthopedic injuries and post operative conditions with the most updated evidence based approach that returns patients to their maximal functional ability while keeping patient goals a top priority. She incorporates a wellness approach to her treatments that obtain excellent functional outcomes.
She has taken numerous continuing education courses with the added emphasis on shoulder, knee, and hip conditions instructed from well-known leaders in the field of physical therapy. She is an Advanced Hip Clinician trained through Hospital for Special Surgery. Her special interest lies in injuries to the overhead athlete. Her previous athletic participation has enabled her to have great insight into injuries pertaining to softball, baseball, tennis and swimming. She has developed comprehensive pregnancy and bariatric programs including general conditioning for patients who are pre – and post partum and post bariatric surgery. She has incorporated regenerative and myofascial therapy interventions through her training and credentialing as a Graston Technique Specialist. She has additional training in Blood Flow Restriction to assist with quicker patient recovery. With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Urvater has led a team of PTs, both supervising and mentoring recent graduates as well as those practicing for several years. She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association as well as the New York Chapter where she serves as a legislative liaison co-chair. She is an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor and is APTA Board Certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist.

Amanda Staffiero PT, DPT

Amanda Staffiero PT, DPT
Physical TherapistDr. Amanda Staffiero graduated from the University of St. Augustine in August of 2013 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Binghamton University.
Amanda sees a wide range of patients of all ages varying from orthopedic to neurologic conditions. She provides evidence based interventions and quality care to each patient’s individual plan of care. Her goal is to provide patients with an effective recovery to achieve their goals. Amanda is a certified LSVT BIG clinician for patients with Parkinson’s disease. She is also certified in vestibular rehabilitation from American Institute of Balance.
Amanda loves that her job gives her the opportunity to improve people’s quality of life to allow them to move better as well as feel better. She finds it rewarding to help people realize there is an answer to their pain and that physical therapy really does make a difference. Her favorite moment with patients is seeing them be pleased with the progress they have made and realize there truly is a light at the end of the tunnel.
When not working, Amanda enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. She is a proud member of the ACCESS PT team and looks forward to providing her services to you.

Gregory Bassell PT, DPT
Physical TherapistGregory Bassell, PT, DPT completed his undergraduate work at Middlebury College, and then went on to Dominican College of Blauvelt where he earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. He has clinical expertise in treating geriatric conditions such as Parkinson’s Disease, CVA, and balance deficits. He finds his job rewarding because he can see his patients’ improvement in real time, and at the end of the day, he knows he made a difference.
“I love giving people their lives back. When someone gets back to doing the things they love, it shows me that my hard work matters. There’s nothing better than the look on a patient’s face when they do something they never thought they’d be able to accomplish.”
In his spare time, Greg enjoys skiing, Tae Kwon Do, frisbee, tabletop gaming, and poetry.
