Dr. Erik Plaia has been a Rockland County native his entire life. He graduated from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT with his Bachelor of Science in 2017 and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2020.
Erik has a passion for improving patients’ quality of life in ways that are meaningful to them. He enjoys getting to know his patients and creating individualized therapy programs to suit their specific needs. He has experience with and a passion for treating a variety of diagnoses including both surgical and non-surgical orthopedic issues and balance/neurological issues. He has treated patients of all ages including young children to geriatrics and everything in between.
Outside of work, Erik is an avid drummer and live music fan. Erik also played ice hockey throughout his youth and continues to play currently.
