Dr. Kiersten (Kiki) Flynn attended the University of Scranton, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in biology as well as her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She started with ACCESS PT in the NY offices but has moved to North Carolina, where she serves as the Area Director of the Clayton and Knightdale locations. She loves working with various age groups and diagnoses, and has special expertise in treating patients with neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s Disease as well as orthopedic post-surgical patients. She is certified in LSVT BIG; a specialized rehabilitation protocol for Parkinson’s Disease.
As a physical therapist, Kiersten particularly enjoys the amount of time she gets to spend connecting with patients as compared to other healthcare professionals. She has the opportunity to get to know them as people as well as help them achieve their goals and lead the lives they want to. Her absolute favorite moment with patients is watching their excitement and sense of accomplishment when they are able to achieve their goals.
In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, gardening, kayaking, traveling and spending time with her dog, Potter James.
